  • A little 12" that came out of Brighton in 1998 on Crime Club - their only ever release. The cheap B&W sleeve and non-graphics would make you flick past it in a trice at a record fair or even in a charity shop.However - the record is well worth owning with its lo-fi breaks and very loud one-fingered stylophone keyboard sound (on the brilliant Solid Feet which was comped on the Stereo MCs DJ Kicks album and sampled on Sqezy Soul by Bushy on Catskills).The guys who made this record went onto create Anvil Records (who at least had a few more releases to boast of). They spotted and signed Turin Brakes first time around before they hit a bigger league.
